Ladera Resort Retains Its Coveted Top Position on Condé Nast Traveler
January 26, 2011, Soufrière, St. Lucia, West Indies – Since being named The Best Hotel in the World by Condé Nast Traveler in November 2005, Ladera has continued to uphold its leadership standing. The resort’s frontrunner position was reaffirmed when it was included on the annual Gold List announced in the January 2011 issue of Condé Nast Traveler. Gold List hotels are selected by the magazine’s readers, considered the most highly selective, well traveled opinion makers in the world. The island of St. Lucia claimed three hotels on the Atlantic and Caribbean Islands list, with Ladera scoring a 90.1 out of a possible 100.
“Ladera is thrilled to start the New Year in the impressive company of the other Gold List winners representing the very best in travel experiences,” says Holly Scott, Ladera’s Owner Representative. “It is a true testament to the authenticity of a Ladera experience and the intuitive service and genuine warmth delivered to every guest by our winning St. Lucian staff.”
Ladera is positioned for a great 2011. Last year the resort opened its breathtaking open-air Paradise Pavilion wedding venue overlooking the Piton Mountains a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Pavilion is now one of the Caribbean’s most sought after settings for ceremonies and receptions of up to 80 guests. Ladera’s Dasheene restaurant continues to be St. Lucia’s top table and popular destination restaurants for anyone visiting St. Lucia.
